417 Scholars of Victorias Receive Educational Assistance




             Four hundred seventeen scholars of the City received educational assistance from Mayor Francis Frederick Palanca at the Don Alejandro Acuña Yap Quiña Arts and Cultural Center last April 16.
The scholars received P2,500 educational assistance to help augment their school expenses and needs.
Mayor Palanca encouraged the scholars to strive hard and finish their studies in order to help their families and the City.
Vice Mayor Jerry Jover and Councilor Vincent Marie Roa were present during the giving of educational assistance.
Seven scholars already graduated this semester and they were acknowledged during the activity.
One of them was Keilah Orocio Longno, who graduated as Magna Cum Laude of La Consolacion College Bacolod, with the course, B.S. Tourism Management.
She thanked the administration of Mayor Palanca for granting her with the assistance and she said that through the support of the City, she was able to graduate with flying colors.
Mayor Francis Frederick Palanca is very proud of his scholars and he will continue to come up with programs in education to help many Victoriahanons.
