PO3 Joy Ellaga Pass PNP Exam For Lateral Entry, Ranks 17th Place In Region VI
PO3 Joy Ellaga of the Victorias City Police Station (VCPS) ranked 17th place in the whole region during the July 2012 Lateral Written Competitive Exam for Lateral Entry Line Officer held in Cebu City last July 21.
Ellaga is assigned at the VCPS in 2003 and is currently serving the Women and Children Protection Desk Police Non-Commission Officer for eight years since 2004.
She graduated at the University of St. La Salle with the degree of Masters in Public Management Major in Law Enforcement and National Security, and finished with High Honors in 2010.
In 2011, Ellaga finished her B.S. Criminology at the University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos (UNO-R), Bacolod City and passed the Criminology Board Exam.
It is also in the same University where she graduated from B.S. Agriculture in 1997.
Ellaga continues to play a vital role in the decrease of cases involving Children in Conflict with the Law and has filed about 100 cases on Violation of Women and Children’s Rights.
Moreover, she never fails to participate in Crime Prevention Campaign again Child Abuses by conducting Pulong-Pulong to the 26 barangays Victorias City and general information drives to the different schools as well.
