GSIS Advisory 2014

In line with the implementation of the GSIS Scholarship Program (GSP) for Academic Year 2014-2015, may we invite all GSIS members under your respective offices to participate by submitting their nominees during the application period scheduled from April 23, 2014 to May 30, 2014.

Under the revised GSP Policy and Procedural Guidelines (PPG) No. 253-14, all active GSIS members with premium payments for the last six (6) months may nominate scholars, provided that:

a.            They are permanent employees in the government, who are regular GSIS members at the time of application, with at least three (3) years of service;

b.            They are at SG 24 or below or its equivalent job level; and

c.            They have incoming college freshmen-dependents who are accepted in any 4- or 5-year course or in priority courses identified by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in a Higher Education Institution (HEI) with its own charter or a school qualified by the CHED as Levels IV and III, Autonomous or Deregulated.

Initial screening of applicants will be conducted by the Branch Office. Only applications with complete requirements will be submitted to the GSIS Human Resources Administration Department (HRAD), Human Resources Office (HRO), for further evaluation and processing.
