The Assessor’s Office headed by Mercedita Acuyong was recognized as one of the Best 5S Implementors among city assessor’s offices in Region VI last Dec. 5.
The Bureau of Local Government Finance Regional Office No. VI and Regional Association of Treasurers and Assessors in Region VI (REGATA VI), Inc. spearheaded the regional awards.
The plaque of recognition was signed and given by Rudante Gupeteo – Provincial Assessor of Iloilo – President, REGATA VI and Melba B. Sullivan, Ph. D. – OIC Regional Director.
The awarding took place at the Iloilo Grand Hotel, Iloilo City during the Annual Pre-Planning and Year-end Reassessment Performance Conference Workshop of Provincial, City and Municipal Assessors and Treasurers and their ranking personnel.
The Assessor’s Office has been passionate in maintaining excellent public service and has consistently won the award in the same category for two successive years.
