By Samson Garzon, Victorias City Agriculturist
The City of Victorias was given farm tools by
the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) last April 1.
This is
for the benefit of Typhoon Yolanda-affected Victoriahanons.
Representatives
from FAO turned-over the twelve sets of farm tools to the City Officials of
Victorias, who in turn, also gave said tools to farmers’ representatives.
A set of farm tools consisted of a hoe, bolo,
and shovel which benefitted 12 groups engaged in farming.
The tools
should be shared by group members while working on their farms.
Custodian
of said tools was left to the decision of the officers during their board
meeting.
